Aptly named “The Bassroom” this ingenious product fills the need for a portable bathroom system
in a market that has been overlooked and neglected for years. With privacy concerns and today’s current “eco-friendly” movements, the Bassroom virtually eliminates the possibility of over-exposure from your boat while providing an environmentally safe alternative to lengthy trips back to the loading dock or using the shoreline as a bathroom. Our Review
One of the problems with small boats and spending large amounts of time away from the shore is a bathroom. Some don’t, mind this (i.e. men) and go anyway, but certainly not many Women do, and neither is it kosher in crowded anchorages or in mixed company. That is unless you are French of course. You may be tempted to run to the shore and go quickly on the beach, or rocks, but what if this is private property. You might find yourself getting a mouthful. There is a simple way around this problem and it is brought to you by Cover your Bass. I think they are talking about something else, not your Bass. MyBoatsGear.com read the rest

Why every fisherman needs a BASSROOM
Ok, I know what you’re thinking. I can see that little smirk on your face that says “I’m a manly man, I don’t need some contraption to relieve myself, shoot I’ll just hang it over the side or go to the bank”. Let’s take a look at why every fisherman needs one of these products in their boat. Ah, the lake. The splendor and beauty of the outdoors draw many people who desire an escape from the hustle and bustle of the work-week and fisherman are among the most vocal and active when it comes to respecting their environment and preserving it’s beauty.

Yesterday we revealed a tailgating tip on how to avoid long lines for the porta-potty while tailgating.
The problem with that tip is that if you are not parked close to the RV section, or if the stadium parking lot does not have a special RV section, this technique is useless. You could just go get your own porta-potty and strap it to the bed of your truck but that would be expensive and inconvenient. Or is it?

When Nature Calls, Anglers Use the Bassroom
Matt and Kirk Smith, father and son fishermen from North Texas, think they've come up with a product that may prove popular among anglers who find themselves aboard their bass boat and out in nature when, uh, nature calls.

The Bassroom
The folks at Cover Your Bass have come up with a portable covered toilet you can setup quickly right on your boat. It's great for couples, lady anglers, older anglers, and young children who are probably a little more modest than a lot of you fishermen out there. You and your boat passengers could all feel at ease knowing they have a Bassroom on board.

BassRoom Product Review
When I first heard about the "BassRoom" in June on my way to Kentucky Lake, I couldn't wait to find out more about it. The photos and the description of the "BassRoom" looked and sounded great. It is one of those "why didn't someone think of this sooner" type of product.

What's the best advancement you've found in fishing recently?
Linda: Actually, my sister and I both had the same answer. Are you familiar with a product called the Bass Room? There’s a lot of new lures and rods and reels that are new and improved that are all great, but this product stands out because it truly is innovative. It was designed to give people privacy on the water, you don’t have to leave the water to go find a public restroom.
